In “A Worn Path,” Phoenix has a memorable encounter and conversation with the hunter during her journey. Think about a conversation you have had that had a lasting impact on you. What was the conversation about, and how did it change your thinking, perspective, or actions?

as a kid, every conversation with my father meant something to me. I looked up to him, and I felt as if we never talked a lot. because of that, every conversation I had with him meant that I took something from it. every scolding, reward, or gesture was picked up by me, and that's why I'm the way I am now.

in class, we read through the story, "a worn path"

I think the story was good, and was shocking towards the end.
